Rayon, also known as viscose or artificial silk, is manufactured out of a natural product. It is the result of a complex and elaborate production process, wherein cellulose is converted into a highly firm viscose filament thread. The beauty and quality of the high-grade viscose grant any embroidery distinctive brilliance. High tear-resistance, excellent running characteristics, ideal color fastness and the extensive choice of colors characterize this yarn.
Rayon is the ideal machine embroidery thread for computerized embroidery motifs and ornamental embroidery. It can be easily used on the thinnest silk, but also on rougher fabrics as denim or leather.
